Label Marketing Coordinator
Job Overview:
Hospital Records is an independent drum & bass music company based in east London. The label was founded in 1996 by Tony Colman and Chris Goss, and has grown to become one of the most prolific imprints within UK dance music.
The Label Marketing Coordinator supports marketing, content, and promotional strategies alongside the Creative Marketing Coordinator, to drive the growth of Hospital Records, its artists, and releases. Focusing on social media delivery, content creation, and campaign execution, this role builds and communicates the Hospital brand to both core and wider audiences, and may involve occasional work outside standard office hours, including at events and music shows.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media & Content Creation
- Coordinate posting, scheduling, and community engagement across social platforms.
- Monitor social media performance, producing regular reports on key campaigns.
- Stay up to date with marketing trends and emerging platforms, implementing findings where relevant to company strategy.
- Assist team with organizing and commissioning of video/photo shoots.
Marketing Campaigns
- Contribute and deliver creative promotional ideas for releases and label growth.
- Support and initiate IRL activations like pop-ups, in-stores, and collaborative initiatives.
- Analyse performance of marketing campaigns to create data-driven strategies.
Influencer & Community Marketing
- Build and maintain influencer database, assessing performance and strategy.
- Commission posts and collaborative marketing opportunities with influencers/community pages.
- Identify and engage potential new influencers and agencies.
Radio, PR, and Promotions
- Oversee DJ promo distribution and database maintenance.
- Coordination of broader release promotions including radio & PR.
Advertising & Audience Development
- Coordinate mailing lists, website data, and ad campaigns to grow digital audiences.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Experience in music marketing or social media management.
- Strong knowledge of drum & bass culture and Hospital Records.
- Proven success and engagement with TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube accounts.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
- Excellent organizational, creative, and communication skills.

Publishing Coordinator
Job Overview:
Launched in 1996 as the publishing arm of Hospital Records, Songs In The Key Of Knife (SITKOK) is a leading independent music publisher. We represent over 10,000 works internationally and are dedicated to detailed collection, accurate accounting, and maximising the creativity of our writers. We’ve developed a reputation as the go-to publisher for electronic music both in sync and in collaborations with other publishers and labels, and in recent years have branched out into the pop, k-pop, grime, and hip hop worlds. We pride ourselves on being a creative, boutique publisher that prioritises adding value to our writers’ careers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinating day-to-day running of SITKOK.
- Procuring splits, metadata, and assets for compositions that SITKOK controls.
- Registering compositions.
- Overseeing royalty accounting periods.
- Ensuring sub-publisher and neighbouring rights copyright updates have been sent accurately and efficiently.
- Maintaining sub-publisher and multi-territory online licensing relationships.
- Scouting new songwriters, composers, and artists to sign to SITKOK, along with the A&R team.
- A&Ring writer compositions sent for feedback, along with the A&R team.
- Assisting with organising songwriting/recording sessions and writing camps for the roster.
- Assisting with pitching songs, toplines, and instrumentals to industry contacts.
- Updating SITKOK website and social media.
- Attending industry networking and music events.
Necessary:
- Good understanding of music copyright and the current publishing landscape.
- Passion for, and broad knowledge of, electronic music.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
- Eye for detail and a can-do attitude.
Desirable:
- Experience at a music publisher.
- Technical music production know-how.
