Hoax links up once again with PVC on ‘The Samurai,’ a heavyweight single ahead of the rising star’s forthcoming Sick Notes EP, landing 25 September.

A no-frills exercise in igniting dancefloors, ‘The Samurai’ is peak-time Hoax: thundering basslines, precision-cut breaks and that raw, rolling energy carving out his place in the new-gen drum & bass landscape.

The single follows the release of his ‘What You Came Here For’ collab with Zitah in June, where the Bristol-based prodigy quickly caught the attention of the scene’s elite – earning co-signs from Sub Focus, Camo & Krooked, Koven, Rudimental and more.

On the mic is PVC – a vocal powerhouse barging through the drum & bass circuit whose calibre spans garage, hip-hop, D&B and beyond. Flexing razor-sharp bars and pinpoint delivery, he brings serious heat to the collab.

Having already dropped cuts like ‘Sekkle’ on Anaïs’ Hospital Mixtape and ‘Spark It’ via Formulations: Treatment One, Hoax and PVC come well-armed – with past appearances at Hospitality on the Beach, Boomtown, Bristol’s Motion and more, their synergy is tried, tested and ready to send it once again.
