Hospitality Q+A+E 2.0 at the BME
Friday 5th March

After the success of Hospital’s first Q+A+E session at the BME in September, we return for another industry masterclass this time with Danny Byrd, John B and Emalkay. Hosted by Radio 1's Mistajam the artists will be presenting to you their music-making techniques and taking questions on how they go about creating their trademark sounds, beat programming, heavy basslines and everything else in-between.

With three big characters from the dance genre with bags of experience and expertise, this distinctive, original event offers you the chance to meet first hand some of the individuals behind the music.

Trisector returns to the operating table!

Trisector returns to Med School with a follow up to the lush, amen-fuelled "Morning Rain" single out earlier this year.

"Lifeforms" effortlessly rolls back the years to the uncompromising dancefloor sounds of the late-90s, think classic Ed Rush + Optical with 2009 sensibilities. Trisector and Inztance strip it back on flipside "Trace Of A Smile", constructing a tight framework of rolling beats and growling bass finished with a fine veneer of beautiful guitar and vocal overtones. Big!!

These tracks have received DJ support from Survival, S.P.Y, Kasra, Loxy, Mutated Forms, Blu Mar Ten, Chris.SU and London Elektricity among others. The release features exclusive artwork courtesy of the awesome Lonekink.

Raise your Stella Artois' as Hospital reveal the exclusive signing of Belgian wonderkid Netsky!!

It's hard to believe that Boris 'Netsky' Daenen's debut release on an offshoot of DJ Hype's Ganja label arrived as recently as spring 2009. With a trickle of high-quality releases since then, he has quickly established himself as one of the hottest new talents in drum+bass.

His track 'Smile' recently featured on the massive 'Hospitality presents: This Is Drum+Bass' compilation and his version of Miike Snow's 'Black and Blue' clearly demonstrates his remixing capabilities.

"The Future Sound Of Russia" is as diverse as you'd expect from the largest country in the world. The stylistic spectrum is broad - from the soulful sounds of Electrosoul System (featuring the voice behind Freak Power – Ashley Slater no less), to the experimental ambience of Bop and Dissident, via the awesome dancefloor minimalism of new Hospital signing Subwave - these producers are some of the most talked about in the scene.
