Звуки Будущего из России - "Future Sound Of Russia" Pre Order Now!
Having showcased regional and international scenes from Cambridge to Tokyo via Budapest, Hospital’s “Future Sound of” series takes on a whole new dimension; for the first time we take on the giant superpower that is Russia.
“The Future Sound of Russia” is as diverse as you’d expect from the largest country in the world. The stylistic spectrum is broad - from the soulful sounds of Electrosoul System (featuring the voice behind Freak Power – Ashley Slater no less), to the experimental ambience of Bop and Dissident, via the awesome dancefloor minimalism of Subwave - these producers are some of the most talked about in the scene.

With D+B bigger than ever before on a global scale, there is nowhere more up-and-coming than Russia, and Subwave is right at the heart of the Moscow scene.
Gleb started to make music with production partner Alexander Rotov over ten years ago, grabbing the attention of the late John Peel no less, with a debut release on Tech Itch recordings in 2001. More tunes followed with a remix of Tiesto (with Paul B) getting attention stateside and follwing Gleb going solo, a 12" on Goldie's Metalheadz label.
Not only a talented Producer, Gleb is also held in high regard as both a DJ and Promoter, and was involved in the first "Hospitality" night in Russia in 2006. He has gone on to promote the massive "Refreshed" night in Moscow's "Propaganda" nightclub with DJ Vipah, as well as DJing all over Russia and across Europe.
2009 sees Subwave elevate into the top D+B bracket, and with two awesome tracks on Hospital's Future Sound of Russia, he impressed the Hospital A+R team so much, they signed him up.
Successfully marrying ice cold minimalism with wide open dancefloor sonics, and with huge support from the likes Hype, Fabio, Goldie and of course London Elektricity, expect more Subwave in your system shortly.
